2012 Texas Autism Research Conference

urTalker will be attending and exhibiting at the The Texas Autism Research & Resource Center (TARRC) conference. urTalker will be launching urTalker Pro at the conference. urTalker Pro provides advanced alternative augmentative communication and assistive technology to the autistic spectrum/autism community in need of assistive speech or communication technology. The conference will be held July 13-14, 2012, at the Commons Learning Center on the University of Texas J.J. Pickle Research Campus in Austin, Texas.
TARC is an exciting opportunity to learn about cutting edge autism research and evidence-based practices related to the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The conference will highlight the work of researchers from Texas and across the nation, who are respected experts in the field of ASD. Covering a range of interesting topics, conference presenters will share their research findings and address important implications for practices.
The conference will appeal to academics, researchers and licensed professionals who work with individuals with ASD, as well as family members and caregivers with a special interest in autism research.
TARRC is a program of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
